Brief outline of the overall work plan

The overall structure of the proposed work plan will consist of four milestones (see section 2.2.4), each including a number of work packages (see section 2.2.2) that will result in a specific deliverable (see section 2.2.3). The completion of each milestone is a precondition in order to proceed to the next, although the work packages within each milestone are independent:

1st Milestone: Prerequisites completed

            WP1: Review of the literature (3.02 Person months)
            WP2: Database development (2.50 Person months)

2nd Milestone: Basic estimations completed      

            WP3: Econometric estimation of key macroeconomic variables (3.00 Person months)
            WP4: Calculation and formulation of qualitative and quantitative measures of competition (3.02 Person months)

3rd Milestone: Model estimation completed      

            WP5: Mainstream macroeconomic models (3.02 Person months)
            WP6: Classical-Marxian macroeconomic models (3 Person months)

4rd Milestone: Project completed         

            WP7: Communication and dissemination (0.5 Person months)
            WP8: Project Management (2.56 Person months)
