Objectives

To estimate the determinants of key macroeconomic variables

Description of Work

1. Target variables include at least the following

a. Employment
b. Investment
c. Exports
d. Imports
e. Wages
f. CPI
g. Deflators

2. The Method of estimation will take into consideration the panel structure of sectoral data and will utilize all relevant tests

Tasks

1. Fetch data from database created in WP2
2. Write computer code for econometric programs using as regressors variables identified in WP1
3. Perform econometric estimation
4. Run econometric tests
5. Adjust estimations
6. Write a report of estimations that includes the computer code and the results

Deliverables

Deliverable D3: A report of the findings that includes the code used in the econometrics program

Milestones

2nd Milestone: Basic estimations completed
